Looking to feast on lovely French pastries and gorgeous cakes in KL? With the heavy rain these days, stay home and brew a hot cup of tea or coffee while you order pastries from the comfort of your own home.

French pastries are revered around the world because they are freshly baked with quality ingredients. You can definitely tell the difference between freshly baked bread and pastries versus processed, packaged goods. It’s no small feat to make desserts like croissants and macaroons either – they take hours of patience and skill. So when you buy a freshly baked French pastry, you know you’re in for a treat.

Patisseries means “pastry” in French and is usually the term for bakeries specializing in French pastries. While there’s no shortage of bakeries in KL, we’ve narrowed it down to patisseries so you can try the best of the best when it comes to traditional French cakes and pastries. The best part? All of these pastries deliver, which means those delicious desserts and treats are just a click away!

If you’re looking for an intricate dessert or pastry to take to a friend’s house or just treat yourself, take it a step further with these incredible French products that look (almost) too good to eat.

Here is our selection of patisseries offering French pastries in KL that you absolutely must check out:
