Morrisons Chicken Studs have been recalled due to possible glass in the product

Several of the UK’s major supermarkets have recalled a number of products due to food safety concerns.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued alerts for items including chicken gudgeon, pastries, pasta, beer and fish, Kent Live reported.

Product recalls occur when there may be a problem with the food which means it should not be sold – this may be related to various potential hazards including contamination, misleading or incorrect labels and allergens .

Where there is a risk of food allergy, the FSA will issue an allergy alert.
