Two popular Asian boutiques linked to New York will soon debut under one roof in Cambridge, according to Cambridge Daily.

Taiyaki NYC and The Dough Club will occupy a space at 6 Church St. at Harvard Square, just steps from the Harvard MBTA station, Boston Eater Reports.

Taiyaki NYC, which originally came to Boston in 2019, already has a location in Seaport. The store is known for serving ice cream in hot fish-shaped cones in a variety of flavors and tons of fancy toppings.

Taiyaki also serves “fluffy stacks of puffed pancakes and hot, iced and frozen matcha, hojicha and taro drinks”, their website reads.

Meanwhile, the Dough Club, also formed in New York, is known for its freshly baked Japanese mochi donuts.

The delicious treats from the bakery are often accompanied by milkshakes, coffee, tea and other Japanese sweets, depending on their taste. website.

The shop also regularly offers new products and flavors. A Dough Club spokesperson told Daily Voice in an email that more information about their opening is expected to arrive in the next two weeks.
