Krispy Kreme recently revealed it was offering anyone working for the NHS a whopping 50% off a dozen donuts throughout January.
The exclusive discount will only be available on Wednesdays, which means there are still three Wednesdays left for staff to get delicious donuts for less.
The American donut and coffee company announced the cut as a thank you to all NHS staff for all their hard work during the pandemic.
It follows that McDonald’s has announced that it will also treat NHS staff this year by extending its 20% cut to all staff for the rest of the year.
Workers in the NHS, police, fire, social service sector and armed forces are all eligible for the reduction which will be available until the last Wednesday of the month, which falls on January 26.
To access the tasty discount, NHS staff are encouraged to go to their local Krispy Kreme every remaining Wednesday and show their ID badge to treat themselves to 50% off the dozen donuts they want .
Alternatively, the donut and coffee company said workers can show up in uniform if they don’t have their ID on them.
The exclusive discount is only available at Krispy Kreme stores across the country, which means it’s not available for online orders.
Krispy Kreme’s epic discount comes after several organizations across the country provided NHS staff with discounts and offers to recognize their efforts during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
David Bater, Marketing Manager at NHS Discount Offers, commented: “The UK still faces difficult times and it’s great that Krispy Kreme can bring some money-saving smiles where they can. to NHS staff This is a fantastic offer and staff members can really be a little smart with their money and get 50% off 12 donuts.
It’s a really nice thought from this well-known brand and you can share a donut with a co-worker over coffee. It’s a really nice gesture.”
NHS staff who want to take advantage of the 50% discount with Krispy Kreme can now visit their local branch.
The offer will be available until Monday, January 31, 2022.
