While ghost hunters like to ask, “Who are you going to call?” The truth is, when issues arise, we call 911 and wait for trusted first responders to come and help us. Considering the number of times they have come to the aid of those in need, they certainly deserve our gratitude. On this National First Responder Day, Krispy Kreme is taking care of it.

While your local stationery might not make an official National First Responder Day greeting card, Krispy Kreme has found a great way to thank the people who help us out when we really need it. The beloved Southern channel takes the opportunity to celebrate first responders by offering firefighters, paramedics / EMTs, law enforcement officers, emergency operators, dispatchers and search personnel and rescue a free original glazed donut and a hot cup of coffee to dip in on Thursday, October 28 (aka National First Responder Day).

“The commitment of our country’s first responders to protecting and saving lives as a profession and vocation is a blessing we all owe, especially in recent times,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Marketing Director, in a press release. “We are grateful to them every day and it is our honor to celebrate them with this gesture.”

To take advantage of the offer, first responders simply need to show up at their local Krispy Kreme with a valid badge and they will be thanked for all their hard work with a treat that is just a small token of appreciation for their work. fierce and important.
