Krispy Kreme Australia is set to give away 100,000 free donuts for just one day.

Diners can visit a Krispy Kreme store on Friday, June 4 to claim a free donut in New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia to celebrate National Donut Day – and there is no catch .

Given the current foreclosure restrictions in Melbourne, there will be a delay in Victoria to ensure Krispy Kreme adheres to state government advice.

NEW SOUTH WALES: Auburn, Central Lee (Sydney CBD), Chatswood, Liverpool, Mascot, Parramatta (level 1), Parramatta (level 5), Penrith, Mt Druitt, Sydney Domestic T3, Sydney Domestic T2

QUEENSLAND: Redbank Plains, Shell Nudgee, Pacific Fair, Albert St (Brisbane CBD), Acacia Ridge, Surfers Paradise, Brisbane Jetstar (domestic terminal)

WESTERN AUSTRALIA: Myaree, Whitford City, Cannington and Hay St

In anticipation of the big day, the donut chain will ice 2,000 original frozen donuts per hour on its production line, or 33 donuts per minute.

“National Donut Day is our favorite day of the year – we love to share the joy of our famous original frozen donuts and relish the chance to bring a smile to our customers,” said Nicola Steele, Retail Director at Krispy Kreme Australia, said.

Fans have long been mesmerized by the frosting cascade in stores, which luxuriously coats donuts with a secret frosting recipe that dates back to the 1930s.
